{"id":40,"date":"2014-02-20T02:31:35","date_gmt":"2014-02-20T02:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fcwhack.com\/?page_id=40"},"modified":"2024-05-23T21:20:37","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T21:20:37","slug":"membership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/fcwhack.com\/?page_id=40","title":{"rendered":"Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">FCW Membership Information<\/h2>\n<p>FCW has three Membership Classes.\u00a0 To become a member of FCW fill out and submit the <a href=\"http:\/\/fcwhack.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Documents\/membership-agreement-rev-20141011.pdf\">Membership Agreement<\/a> and pay initial dues.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Standard Members<\/h4>\n<p>Standard Members of Foothills Community Workshop (FCW) receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A key so that they may access the space 24\/7 (after a short probation period)<\/li>\n<li>Use of all community tools and equipment (subject to training requirements).<\/li>\n<li>Free access to all workshops and events (plus material costs).<\/li>\n<li>When available, a designated area to store in-progress work (at the member&#8217;s own risk).<\/li>\n<li>A voice and a vote in FCW.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The current dues for Standard Members is $35\/month.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Family Members<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If one member of a family is a Standard member, then additional family may join as Family Members.\u00a0 The big advantage is that all family members may be at FCW without having to have a Standard Member present.\u00a0 All family members of Foothills Community Workshop (FCW) receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of all community tools and equipment (subject to training<br \/>\nrequirements).<\/li>\n<li>Free access to all workshops and events (plus material costs).<\/li>\n<li>When available, a designated area to store in-progress work (at the member&#8217;s own risk).<\/li>\n<li>Only one voice and one vote in FCW.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the required standard member,\u00a0 dues for additional Family Members is $17.50 \/ month for each additional Family Member.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Associate Members<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Associate Membership is intended for students, supporters, and those who for some reason cannot afford standard membership. Associate members of FCW receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to the space when a standard or family member is present.<\/li>\n<li>Use of all community tools and equipment (subject to training requirements).<\/li>\n<li>Free access to all workshops and events (plus material costs).<\/li>\n<li>When available, a designated area to store in-progress work (at the member&#8217;s own risk).<\/li>\n<li>Associate members do not receive a voice or a vote.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The dues for Associate Members is $20 \/month<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Guests and Visitors<\/h4>\n<p>Guests and Visitors are welcome at FCW any time that a Standard or Family member is present.\u00a0 Guests and visitors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pay no dues<\/li>\n<li>May attend any class, event or workshop open to the public.<\/li>\n<li>May attend non-board meetings as an observer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visitors may become Guests by filling out and signing a <a title=\"Guest Agreement\" href=\"http:\/\/fcwhack.com\/?p=737\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guest Agreement<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Those signing the Guest Agreement\u00a0 may use the machinery, under supervision.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0Forms<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fcwhack.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Documents\/membership-agreement-rev-20141011.pdf\">membership-agreement-rev-20141011<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fcwhack.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Documents\/Guest-agreement-20140726.pdf\">Guest-agreement-20140726<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FCW Membership Information FCW has three Membership Classes.\u00a0 To become a member of FCW fill out and submit the Membership Agreement and pay initial dues.
